Ugo Okpara is a pastor, author, speaker, and grace-based discipleship advocate. His life and ministry rest on one conviction: the grace of God is not only a doctrine to believe but a power to experience, and it transforms every life it touches.
Born in Nigeria, Ugo grew up in a faith tradition that prized spiritual depth and community. His move to the United States became a season of formation. Building a life far from home taught him to overcome by grace, by abiding rather than striving, and gave him deep empathy for people in transition and a lasting passion for the next generation.
Today he lives in Cypress, Texas, where he serves as Executive Pastor and Founder of Shift Generation Network. He is a youth coach, a worship leader, and the voice behind Overcoming Today. Each September he hosts the Grace Summit, and every Thursday night he teaches Purpose Connect Bible Study live.
Ugo also brings Kingdom values into the marketplace. He serves as a Branch Ambassador at Capital One and draws on more than 17 years in operations, financial services, customer experience, and process improvement as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Faith Confessions
Speak what grace says is true.
I believe, therefore I speak — and I speak only from grace, promise, and confidence in God’s faithfulness.
Faith, Promise, Confidence, and Manifestation
I live by faith, not by my own effort. I receive every promise of God as a free gift because of Christ. Like Abraham, I trust God’s word, not my performance. His promises to me are sure, steady, and guaranteed by grace.
I imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. I am not lazy in the spirit; I am consistent, confident, and anchored in what God has spoken over my life.
I do not throw away my confidence — it is richly rewarded. I persevere with joy, knowing that as I walk in God’s will, I receive everything He has promised. My endurance is empowered by grace, not human strength.
Like Sarah, I look beyond natural limitations. I consider God faithful, and because He is faithful, I am enabled. What seemed impossible becomes possible. What was delayed becomes delivered. What was barren becomes fruitful.
Through Christ, I have received the blessing of Abraham. The promise of the Spirit is mine. The inheritance of grace is mine. The fullness of God’s goodness is mine. I receive by faith what Jesus has already finished.
This is my confidence: when I ask according to His will, He hears me. I pray boldly, knowing my requests align with His heart, His plan, and His grace. I am heard. I am answered. I am supported by heaven.
God’s power is working in me right now. I never doubt His ability to accomplish more than I ask, imagine, or dream. He exceeds my expectations. He outdoes my requests. His miraculous power energizes me daily.
Therefore, I speak:
- I am a receiver of promises.
- I am strengthened by grace.
- I am confident in God.
- I am empowered by the Spirit.
- I am walking in manifestation.
- Everything God has spoken is unfolding in my life.

Boldness, Fire, and Spirit‑Empowered Confidence
I fan into flame the grace‑gift of God within me. His gift in me is not small, weak, or timid — it is a blazing fire, alive with purpose, power, and divine boldness. I am fully acquainted with what God has placed inside me. I do not shrink back; I rise in the strength of His Spirit.
The boldness of God is active in me. The fire of God is stirring in me. The grace of God is working through me. I carry a fearless, unstoppable spirit — the Spirit of power, love, and a liberated mind. My life and ministry reflect the boldness God has endorsed in me.
- I declare that the gift of God in me is alive.
- I declare that the fire of God in me is growing.
- I declare that the Spirit of God in me is fearless.
- I declare that my mind is liberated, empowered, and sound.
- I declare that nothing timid lives in me — only grace, boldness, and divine confidence.
- I am unstoppable because His Spirit empowers me.
- I am fearless because His love surrounds me.
- I am bold because His grace strengthens me.
- I am aflame because His gift burns within me.
